New Nonstop Flights from Calgary to Loreto
West Coast Canadians will soon have an easier route to explore the captivating charm of Loreto, Baja California Sur. Starting October 31, 2025, WestJet, Canada’s premier leisure airline, will introduce weekly nonstop flights from Calgary International Airport (YYC) to Loreto International Airport (LTO). The new nonstop flights will operate every Friday, with departures from Calgary around 10:30 AM and arriving in Loreto by 1:45 PM local time. The return flight is set to leave Loreto at 2:35 PM, landing back in Calgary at approximately 7:52 PM. These notably timed flights cater to travelers from the West Coast and Central Canada, allowing additional time for same-day connections.
Expanded Service in December
Building on the anticipated success of this route, WestJet has announced plans to introduce a second weekly flight on Mondays starting in mid-December 2025, through April 2026.
