Travelsavers Canada recently concluded its highly anticipated Dine & Discover series in Toronto, attracting over 100 attendees and representatives from more than 30 local travel agencies. Hosted at Parkview Manor, the event featured 18 “preferred partners,” including newcomers like Air Transat, Expedia TAAP, and Club Med.
Connecting the Travel Industry
Commencing in the summer of 2023, the Dine & Discover events aim to foster connections among travel agency owners, advisors, and preferred partners. These gatherings are designed to facilitate learning through informative presentations, helping enhance business relationships and service offerings in the travel sector.
Insights from Travelsavers Leadership
Jane Clementino, SVP and General Manager of Travelsavers, opened the evening with insights on the organization’s growth trajectory. She highlighted a significant double-digit increase across all segments in 2023 and outlined ambitious sales goals for 2024. Clementino also discussed the expansion of initiatives like the Affluent Traveler Collection and the OnLocation Program, alongside the growing list of preferred suppliers.
Updates from Leading Travel Brands
During the dinner portion, attendees heard updates from various presenting partners, including TravelBrands, Holland America Line, Air Transat, and Collette. These presentations covered the latest product offerings and upcoming promotions to enhance travel experiences for customers.

Future Plans for Travelsavers
Looking ahead to 2024, Travelsavers is set to enhance its training and event offerings with more Dine & Discover events nationwide. Additionally, the organization will hold its Global Conference from September 24 to 26, 2024, at the JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort in Florida.
Members can anticipate the rollout of KORE, a comprehensive online travel training program scheduled to launch in December 2023. This initiative aims to equip travel advisors with necessary skills and knowledge to meet evolving customer needs.
