The Kimpton Saint George Hotel in Toronto is a sophisticated yet playful boutique hotel located along the Bloor Street cultural corridor, bridging the luxurious elements of bordering Yorkville with the bohemian hipness of the Annex. Representing Kimpton’s first and only Canadian location, the hotel opened in 2018 after a significant renovation. Now, the Kimpton Saint George Hotel features 14 stories, offering 188 guest rooms, 20 suites and the luxurious Presidential suite.
Inside, the hotel guests are greeted by various design eras and architectural periods that can be found in the surrounding area, thoughtfully curated by Toronto-based Mason Studio. The hotel’s distinctive aesthetic includes detailed millwork, stone surfaces, rich warm tones, and custom furnishings that, together, create an intimate and inviting atmosphere. An especially notable feature is the series of wooden arches found throughout the hotel that guide guests visually in the space.
The lobby, known as The Living Room, features couches, ambient lighting, and a fireplace, providing guests with a comfortable area to gather before starting the day or unwind after exploring the city. As part of the Morning Kickstart, guests can enjoy complimentary coffee and tea by the main credenza from 6 AM to 10 AM on weekdays and 7 AM to 11 AM on weekends. Then, from 5 PM to 6 PM, guests are invited to join the hosted Social Hour, where complimentary wine and light bites are served. Whether the plans are to stay in or get ready for a night out, Social Hour is a guest favourite!
The Kimpton Saint George also offers amenities like a fully equipped fitness centre featuring a Peloton bike, bicycle rentals to explore the city, and an on-site restaurant, the Fortunate Fox.
