Transat Distribution Canada Celebrates Top Travel Advisors
Transat Distribution Canada (TDC), recognized as Canada’s largest network of travel professionals, recently honored approximately 60 of its top travel advisors during an exclusive seven-night trip to Club Med La Palmeraie in Marrakech, Morocco. This rewarding getaway, held from May 31 to June 8, 2025, was designed to recognize the valuable contributions and exceptional performance of advisors from various TDC agencies across the nation, including Transat Travel/Voyages Transat, the agent@home program, and franchise and affiliate agencies.
Recognition of Outstanding Performance
“The advisors in the TDC network are our eyes and ears for travelers across the country,” stated Karine Gagnon, General Manager of TDC. “This Bravo reward trip is our way of acknowledging their tremendous value.” The successful advisors qualified for this special trip through exceptional sales performance with Air Canada Vacations and WestJet Vacations.
Connecting and Celebrating Together
Anthony Mormina, Senior Director of Sales and Operations, along with TDC regional managers Dan Prior and Sandra Ferlatte, hosted the participants. “Having moments of relaxation and connection with these dedicated advisors is truly invaluable,” Mormina remarked. “The opportunity to bond over our shared passion for travel enhances the experience for everyone involved.”
Incentives for Franchisees and Affiliates
While the trip was primarily aimed at advisors from Transat Travel/Voyages Transat, TDC provides opportunities for its franchisees and affiliates to participate in the Bravo trip program at cost. Each year, reserved spots allow them to motivate and reward their own outstanding advisor teams, fostering a sense of community and appreciation within the network.
Exploring Moroccan Culture and Landscapes
Upon arrival in Marrakech via Air Transat, the advisors dove into the rich Moroccan culture and stunning landscapes. The trip included a selection of activities arranged by Club Med, alongside several unique excursions. Participants enjoyed a tuk-tuk tour through Marrakech, local shopping in the souks, camel rides in the Agafay Desert, Moroccan cooking classes, and breathtaking visits to the Ouzoud waterfalls.
Bravo Recognition Evening
A particularly memorable highlight was the Bravo Recognition Evening, held at the luxurious Jad Mahal Palace. Following an awards ceremony at Club Med, this evening celebrated the significant contributions of each advisor. Karine Gagnon and Anthony Mormina expressed their gratitude, stating, “This trip is our gift to you, thanking you for your exemplary dedication.”
Looking Ahead to 2026
As part of TDC’s commitment to recognizing outstanding travel advisors, the 2026 recognition trip is set to take place in the beautiful Algarve, Portugal. This seven-night all-inclusive stay will be hosted at the new five-star Tivoli Alvor hotel complex. Gagnon noted, “These unforgettable trips are made possible by the support of our valued partners. The contributions of the tour operator are crucial in creating memorable experiences for our advisors.”
