Celestyal Cruises is set to launch its highly anticipated winter season in the Arabian Gulf, kicking off on December 6, 2023. With two of its ships, the Celestyal Journey and Celestyal Discovery, sailing through March 2024, this marks a significant return following the success of a pilot program earlier this year. The company has established multi-year port agreements in key cities such as Doha, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai to enhance its service offerings.
According to Celestyal’s CEO, Mr. Diorio, “The Arabian Gulf is one of the fastest-growing cruise markets worldwide.” The demand has already surpassed initial projections by 35%-40% for the upcoming winter season. The opening sailing, a Grand Prix special from Abu Dhabi, promises a unique fusion of a Celestyal cruise experience with Formula 1 excitement. “It’s a match made in heaven,” Diorio added.
Unforgettable Itineraries
Celestyal’s itineraries will explore stunning destinations, including Sir Bani Yas Island, Oman, Abu Dhabi, Doha, and Dubai. Notably, the itineraries are designed to minimize sea days, enabling more immersive experiences at each port — a hallmark of Celestyal’s offerings.
Special Promotions for Travelers and Advisors
To provide enhanced value, Celestyal is launching various promotions as part of its “Sail & Save” campaign. Guests who load credit onto their accounts before departure will receive an additional 25% bonus, up to €250, for onboard specialty beverages and dining. Crucially, the pre-purchased specialty dining and beverage credit is fully commissionable to travel advisors, making it a win-win for all parties involved.
For 2026 and 2027 sailings in Greece and the Mediterranean, Celestyal is offering substantial discounts on 45 voyages. Additionally, travelers can enjoy a €50 shore excursion credit on the seven-night “Heavenly Greece, Italy, and Croatia” cruises.
Families will also benefit from a combinable “kids go free” promotion on all 157 Arabian Gulf departures, which includes 60 sailings of the seven-night “Desert Days” itinerary and 47 departures of the brand-new “Iconic Arabia” itinerary, making it an appealing option for those traveling with children.
Commitment to Travel Advisors
Celestyal Cruises continues to strengthen its relationship with travel advisors, focusing on a new trade narrative built on three foundational pillars: Heartfelt Journeys, Icons and Rising Stars, and Backstage Travel Pass.
Heartfelt Journeys
This initiative emphasizes the intimate small-ship experience and the warmth of the crew, cultivating a “home-at-sea” atmosphere for guests.
Icons and Rising Stars
This aspect focuses on a balanced mix of renowned and lesser-known ports, allowing travelers to explore everything from bucket-list destinations like Santorini to hidden gems such as Milos and Patmos.
Backstage Travel Pass
With this program, Celestyal aims to provide authentic experiences that foster a deeper connection with local cultures, creating meaningful travel moments.
To support travel advisors in promoting its brand, Celestyal has invested in tools like the Celestyal Compass trade portal, offering access to itineraries, images, videos, and sales materials. A dedicated training platform is also available to enhance product knowledge among advisors.
“We’re committed to becoming the most trade-friendly cruise brand in the industry,” Diorio emphasized. Extensive investments have been made in ships, staff, and North American operations, ensuring that the company’s partners receive thorough support in their sales endeavors.
