Air Canada Vacations (ACV) marked a significant milestone on September 21 with the grand finale of its #ACVDreamMakers product launch in Toronto, concluding an exciting series of five events. This initiative attracted over 2,500 travel advisors from across Canada, culminating in an evening filled with energy and celebration.

During the Toronto event, attendees were greeted with a lively performance by a dance troupe, setting a vibrant atmosphere for the evening. Nino Montagnese, the VP of ACV, reflected on the successful journey that began in Halifax, stating, “Our journey began in Halifax, and this is the final event. With 900 travel agents joining us, there’s a lot of energy in the room.”

The Toronto event stood out as the largest gathering of the #ACVDreamMakers tour, where guests indulged in a pre-event spread inspired by the culinary delights of Mexico and the Caribbean. On the exhibition floor, 70 suppliers surrounded the stage, representing a mix of sun destinations and global providers. In his opening remarks, Montagnese encouraged advisors to “dream bigger and see the world,” underscoring that ACV’s offerings extend beyond sunny beaches.
Entertainment played a significant role, with an Aeroplan-sponsored escape room experience that allowed attendees to earn Aeroplan miles. A representative from the marketing team noted, “Every participant leaves with a reward,” highlighting the event’s engaging nature.

Montagnese expressed his excitement about returning to in-person events, remarking, “We’re celebrating our new collections, and I’m happy to be here. The last time we did this was in 2019, so it’s phenomenal to gather with all of you tonight.” Following successful events in Halifax, Vancouver, Edmonton, and Montreal, he emphasized that ACV offers extensive options beyond just sun spots, highlighting the potential for travel to diverse global destinations.
He further elaborated on the company’s advancements in improving their online booking platform, teasing the upcoming launch of an innovative “Insta Quote” tool, stating, “I promise you this tool is going to be phenomenal. It’s going to give you all the functionality you don’t have today.” This tool is expected to enhance the user experience significantly.

Additionally, the event spotlighted ACV’s second annual Dream of Sun interactive digital brochure launched on September 6. This digital resource showcases the 2023-2024 Sun Collection, which includes over 1,000 hotels across 45 exciting destinations, predominantly all-inclusive. This edition introduces 63 new hotels and 25 semi-exclusive resorts, further adapting to travelers’ preferences.
Montagnese concluded by sharing ACV’s visionary scope, emphasizing the variety of destinations available. “From Asia to the rich history of the Middle East, from South to Central America, to the Pacific, we offer a one-stop shop for a world of possibilities. I’d like us to celebrate the spirit of adventure, creating lasting memories as we explore uncharted territories with Air Canada Vacations,” Montagnese stated.
