Uniworld Boutique River Cruises is set to revolutionize travel by chartering the luxurious Aqua Blu, an expedition yacht, for exclusive cruises between Indonesia and Singapore in 2027. This innovative move comes alongside an announcement regarding the debut of new boutique river ships in Europe.
The Aqua Blu will offer two unique 14-day itineraries in 2027, with sailings scheduled for June 23 and September 1. Starting in vibrant Bali and culminating in the bustling city of Singapore, these cruises promise to deliver an extraordinary travel experience, described by Uniworld as “unlike anything Uniworld has offered before.”
Guests will begin their journey with a three-night stay in Bali, followed by a seven-night expedition cruise, and conclude with another three nights in Singapore. Exciting stops include the renowned Komodo National Park, the exotic Spice Islands, and the pristine Pink Beach, where travelers can expect breathtaking encounters with manta rays, whale sharks, and the iconic Komodo dragons.
Designed for intimate voyages, the Aqua Blu accommodates just 30 guests, ensuring personalized service and tailored experiences. Prices for this exclusive adventure start at $18,999, as per Uniworld’s official website.

Introducing New Super Ships in Europe
In addition to the Aqua Blu, Uniworld has unveiled plans for three new Super Ships in Europe: the Audrey, Marlene, and Sao Rafael. These ships are designed to enhance the river cruise experience, with the Audrey and Marlene featuring layouts similar to their sister ship, the Emilie, which is set to launch in 2026.

The Emilie draws inspiration from Emilie Louise Floge, a notable Austrian fashion designer, while the Audrey pays tribute to the iconic actress Audrey Hepburn, and the Marlene honors the legendary Marlene Dietrich. Both the Audrey and Marlene will operate on popular itineraries along the Danube and Rhine rivers.
Rounding out the fleet is the Sao Rafael, which will complement its sister ship, the Sao Gabriel, as they navigate the Douro River in Portugal.
The inclusion of the Aqua Blu and the new Super Ships represents Uniworld’s most significant fleet expansion to date. According to Uniworld President and CEO Ellen Bettridge, 2027 is poised to be a transformative year for the company, highlighting its commitment to providing unique and luxurious travel experiences.
