Experience in Major Events
In his former role, Chrisley played a critical part in planning airport operations for high-profile events like the Las Vegas Grand Prix and the upcoming Super Bowl LVIII. His strategic input has been paramount in managing the logistics and infrastructure needed to handle significant passenger volume during these occasions.
Future Developments in Aviation
Another focus of Chrisley’s recent efforts has been overseeing the coordination for the Southern Nevada Supplemental Airport. This project aims to enhance airport capacity and facilitate improved service in the region. As he transitions to the directorship, these initiatives are expected to remain high on his agenda.
A Rich Background in Leadership and Service
Before his tenure with the Clark County Department of Aviation, Chrisley dedicated over 21 years to the U.S. Air Force as a civil engineering and mission support officer. Endorsements from Leadership
Reflecting on Chrisley’s contributions, Vassiliadis stated, “For the past 10 years, Jim has been my right hand—an unwavering presence during moments of challenges and triumph alike. His knowledge of this airport system, his calm and thoughtful leadership style, and his dedication to public service are unmatched. I am retiring, knowing that our airports and our future are in the best possible hands.”
