KHM Travel Group Enhances DEI Efforts with New Appointment
KHM Travel Group, a leading host agency based in Brunswick, Ohio, has appointed travel advisor Marcus Williams as its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) specialist. This strategic move aims to bolster the agency’s ongoing efforts in promoting inclusivity and diversity within the travel industry, a focus underscored by KHM’s ranking of No. 42 on Travel Weekly’s Power List.

In his new role, Williams will lead KHM’s existing DEI Committee and organize quarterly meetings aimed at enhancing engagement and collaboration. He will liaise with suppliers and industry partners to promote DEI initiatives across the board. His responsibilities also include contributing to KHM’s DEI Resource Library and delivering DEI Minute presentations during monthly staff gatherings, helping to support and enlighten team members about diversity issues.
Strengthening Connections for Underrepresented Groups
A key aspect of Williams’s role will be leading KHM’s Bipoc Agent Resource Group. This initiative creates a supportive environment for travel advisors of color, fostering networking and collaboration opportunities. Additionally, Williams aims to promote LGBTQ+ travel, ensuring that all communities are represented and have access to travel resources.
Williams, the founder of Impressive Travels based in Houston, has been recognized for his commitment to diversity, having been named KHM’s 2024 DE&I in Action Agent of the Year and a Diamond Pinnacle Agent. His extensive experience and passion for inclusivity position him as a vital asset to KHM’s strategic mission.
